About the Role
The Head of Enterprise Technology will lead the enterprise, store, and workforce technology capabilities across the organization’s global retail ecosystem. This role will be responsible for driving operational excellence, productivity, and service outcomes across enterprise applications, supply chain systems, people technologies, and store platforms.
The role serves as a strategic technology partner to key business functions including Stores, Supply Chain, Finance, Commercial, and People teams, translating business priorities into scalable and future-ready technology solutions.
This leader will also play a critical role in shaping the GCC’s technology landscape, driving digital transformation initiatives, improving service stability, and enhancing the end-to-end team member experience.
Reporting into the senior Technology leadership structure, this position requires a commercially minded technology leader with deep enterprise systems expertise, strong stakeholder management capabilities, and experience operating within large-scale retail or consumer organizations.
Key Responsibilities
Enterprise Solution Design & Technology Leadership
- Translate complex business and technology requirements into scalable enterprise technology solutions.
- Lead the design, configuration, and optimization of enterprise applications and business platforms.
- Drive modernization initiatives focused on service stability, technical debt remediation, and operational scalability.
- Partner with Architecture, Security, Platforms, and Engineering teams to ensure robust end-to-end technology solutions.
- Support enterprise-wide transformation initiatives across digital, automation, and business platforms.
Operational Excellence & Service Delivery
- Own the technology lifecycle for enterprise applications, supply chain systems, and store technologies.
- Drive automation and process optimization initiatives to improve operational efficiency and team productivity.
- Ensure high-quality release management, testing governance, and operational readiness across enterprise systems.
- Establish scalable support models and governance frameworks for sustainable service delivery.
- Monitor operational performance metrics and continuously improve service outcomes.
Systems, Platforms & Data Governance
- Lead enterprise-wide data governance initiatives, including standards, quality controls, and ownership frameworks.
- Oversee technology platforms supporting stores, supply chain, finance, merchandising, marketing, and people operations.
- Ensure strong governance, compliance, financial management, and reporting across enterprise technology functions.
- Collaborate with analytics and enterprise architecture teams to leverage data insights and improve operational effectiveness.
Stakeholder & Business Partnership
- Act as the primary technology relationship leader for enterprise business functions.
- Partner with senior business leaders to align technology investments with organizational priorities.
- Influence cross-functional stakeholders to drive innovation, transformation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Represent Technology in enterprise-wide programs, governance forums, and strategic initiatives.
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead and develop high-performing multidisciplinary teams across enterprise applications and technology operations.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and customer-centricity.
- Mentor future leaders and strengthen organizational capability within the GCC.
- Drive employee engagement and continuous learning across teams.

Ideal Candidate Profile
- 15+ years of experience in enterprise technology, solution design, and technology operations leadership.
- Proven experience leading large-scale enterprise applications and transformation initiatives within complex, matrixed organizations.
- Strong understanding of ERP ecosystems, enterprise platforms, integration management, and modern delivery methodologies including Agile.
- Experience operating within Global Capability Centers (GCCs), shared services environments, or multinational organizations.
- Prior experience within large-scale retail, FMCG, consumer, or omnichannel organizations is highly preferred.
- Exposure to retail technology, omnichannel commerce, supply chain technology, store systems, workforce technologies, and enterprise digital transformation programs would be advantageous.
- Strong strategic and commercial mindset with the ability to align technology initiatives to business outcomes.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing capabilities across business and technology leadership teams.
- Demonstrated ability to lead large, cross-functional teams in fast-paced and evolving environments.
