Field Marketing Manager, Partners
Anthropic
About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
We are looking for a high-energy, results-driven Field Marketing Manager to own and scale our partner marketing events strategy across North America. In this role, you will be the driving force behind co-marketed events with strategic partners, building joint pipelines and accelerating revenue through in-person and virtual experiences.
This is a role for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can operate independently with minimal oversight, and has a proven track record of partnering with channel, technology, and alliance partners to build and execute impactful field events. You will be responsible for the full event lifecycle — from strategy and partner alignment through execution and pipeline attribution.
Responsibilities
Partner Event Strategy & Execution
-
Own the end-to-end strategy, planning, and execution of partner-driven field events (co-hosted dinners, roundtables, workshops, conferences, roadshows) across NAMER
-
Build and manage a regional partner events calendar in coordination with the partnerships and sales teams
-
Identify, recruit, and collaborate with strategic partners (technology, channel, SI, ISV) on co-marketing event opportunities that generate joint pipeline
-
Negotiate partner sponsorship commitments, co-funding arrangements, and event deliverables
Pipeline Generation & Accountability
-
Drive measurable pipeline and revenue impact from every partner event — own pipeline targets tied to partner field marketing programs
-
Develop pre-event, day-of, and post-event engagement strategies that maximize registration-to-attendance conversion and post-event follow-up
-
Partner with sales, BDR, and partnerships teams to build targeted invite lists and ensure strong attendance from high-value accounts
-
Track and report on event ROI, pipeline sourced/influenced, and partner engagement metrics
Cross-Functional Collaboration
-
Serve as the primary marketing liaison to the partner marketing team, ensuring alignment on joint GTM priorities and co-marketing plans
-
Coordinate with demand generation, content, and brand teams to create compelling event collateral and partner-facing materials
-
Work closely with regional sales leadership to align events with territory plans and priority accounts
Operational Excellence
-
Manage event budgets with a bias toward efficiency and measurable outcomes
-
Maintain event project plans, timelines, vendor relationships, and logistics with high attention to detail
-
Build scalable, repeatable playbooks for partner event programs that can be replicated across regions
You may be a good fit if you
-
7+ years of field marketing, event marketing, or partner marketing experience in B2B tech (SaaS preferred)
-
Demonstrated experience building and executing co-marketing events with technology, channel, or alliance partners
-
Proven track record of driving pipeline through field events — you think in terms of pipeline, not just attendance
-
Highly self-directed and execution-oriented — you move fast, take ownership, and don’t wait to be told what to do
-
Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple events and partners simultaneously
-
Experience working cross-functionally with sales, partnerships, and demand generation teams
-
Excellent communication skills — equally effective building relationships with external partners and internal stakeholders
-
Comfortable with event and marketing tech stack (Salesforce, HubSpot/Marketo, Splash/Eventbrite, 6sense, or similar)
-
Based in San Francisco or New York City with willingness to travel regionally (up to 30–40%)
Strong candidates may also have
-
Experience working with cloud/technology ecosystem partners (AWS, Azure, GCP, Snowflake, Databricks, etc.)
-
Familiarity with partner co-selling motions and channel marketing programs
-
Experience at a high-growth startup or scale-up where speed and resourcefulness are table stakes
-
ABM experience and comfort using intent data to drive targeted event strategies

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
