As a Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer at our startup, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products to our customers. In addition to technical expertise, you will need excellent communication and leadership skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage people effectively.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies, plans, and test cases for our backend, frontend, and Android applications.
• Conduct thorough testing and identify bugs, defects, and performance issues in our software products.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand user needs and project requirements.
• Prioritize and manage multiple testing tasks efficiently, while ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of software releases.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for any reported bugs and work towards avoiding similar issues in future releases.
• Provide leadership and guidance to junior QA team members, mentor them, and assist in their professional development.
• Continuously explore and implement industry best practices, tools, and techniques to improve the overall QA process.
• Collaborate closely with the development team to enhance the software development lifecycle and promote a quality-first mindset.
• Document and communicate test results, progress, and any potential risks or issues to stakeholders.
  
  

Requirements

• Proven experience in designing and writing test cases that cover functional, integration, and regression testing.

• Solid understanding of software development processes and the ability to work closely with developers to ensure high-quality releases.
• Experience with bug-tracking systems and test management tools.

• Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes.
• Knowledge of performance testing and security testing methodologies.
