About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Senior Manager – Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to lead our financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analytical initiatives. This role will partner closely with leadership teams to provide financial insights that drive business performance, support strategic decisions, and optimize financial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes.
  • Provide detailed financial analysis on revenue, cost structures, profitability, and operational efficiency.
  • Partner with business and functional teams to understand key drivers of performance and influence decision-making through actionable insights.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives, investments, and business cases.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), highlighting trends and analyzing variances.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly business review decks for leadership, summarizing financial performance and business outlook.
  • Analyze current and past financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Support strategic projects including M&A evaluations, new business launches, and pricing strategies.
  • Establish and enhance FP&A processes, tools, and systems to improve forecasting accuracy and reporting efficiency.
  • Ensure alignment of financial planning activities with company goals and market conditions.

Key Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong financial modeling and quantitative analysis skills.
  • Deep understanding of financial metrics, accounting principles, and business drivers.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial planning tools (e.g., Hyperion, Anaplan, SAP BPC).
  • Excellent storytelling ability with data; strong business acumen and strategic thinking.
  • High level of attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to influence and work effectively across teams.

Qualifications:

  • CA / MBA (Finance) / CFA or equivalent qualification.
  • 8–12 years of progressive experience in FP&A, preferably within the Retail, FMCG, or E-commerce sectors.
  • Prior experience working with senior leadership teams and managing complex financial models is essential.
