Position: Lead/Senior Manager – Finance Controlling

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Lead/Senior Manager – Finance Controlling to oversee all aspects of accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, and regulatory compliance. The role demands a proactive professional who can strengthen internal controls, support strategic decision-making, and ensure financial accuracy across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all accounting operations including Billing, Accounts Receivable (A/R), Accounts Payable (A/P), General Ledger (GL), Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, Revenue Recognition, and Counsel.
• Coordinate and direct the preparation of budgets, financial forecasts, and periodic variance analysis.
• Prepare and publish timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Coordinate the preparation of regulatory and compliance reports.
• Research and resolve technical accounting issues to ensure compliance with applicable standards.
• Support the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely closures.
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
• Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
• Develop, document, and continuously improve business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
• Handle additional Controller duties as assigned.

Key Skills and Competencies:

• Deep understanding of accounting principles (IND AS, IFRS, or GAAP).
• Expertise in Budgeting, Forecasting, Variance Analysis, Financial Reporting, and Regulatory Compliance.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/MS Dynamics) and advanced Excel capabilities.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities.
• High attention to detail with a commitment to process excellence and timelines.

Qualifications:

• CA / CMA / CPA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification.
• 7–10 years of progressive experience in finance controlling, accounting, and regulatory reporting.
• Prior experience in a fast-paced Retail, FMCG, or E-commerce environment preferred.
• Strong team management and cross-functional collaboration experience.
