About the Role

We’re looking for two data-driven interns to join our Assortment & Space Planning team. The interns will work closely with the Category and Replenishment functions to refine assortment strategy, optimize non-moving inventory, and support curation decisions through data analytics. This role offers hands-on exposure to real retail operations, business problem-solving, and data-based decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze store-level sales, DOH, and inventory data to identify slow-moving SKUs and recommend rationalization actions
• Support assortment curation by benchmarking category performance across states and sub-categories
• Build and maintain Excel/SQL dashboards and trackers to automate daily/weekly monitoring of assortment health metrics
• Collaborate with Category Managers and Replenishment teams to drive actionable insights and implement assortment updates

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data cleaning)
• Basic working knowledge of SQL for querying and analyzing large datasets
• Strong analytical mindset with an ability to translate data into actionable business insights
• Detail-oriented, structured, and comfortable working with large, unclean datasets
