Job Description
Who You'll Work With
Project Delivery Leads are responsible for planning, organizing, and leading projects from initiation through delivery to ensure they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. The role involves creating and maintaining detailed project plans, understanding and managing project financials, and coordinating cross-functional delivery teams by assigning tasks and tracking progress. Project Delivery Leads serve as a primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication, managing expectations, and driving successful project outcomes.
You will be part of the core Professional Services team playing a key role in Arista’s ability to deliver complex technology solutions to our large enterprise Customers.
Technical projects usually follow a similar format of requirements capture, design, implementation, test and migration. You will be responsible for managing all phases of the projects to ensure that the agreed requirements are delivered and that changes to the project are managed appropriately. The majority of deliveries are enterprise-level, data center focused networks.
This role can be based in EMEA. This will be predominantly home based with some travel to customer sites and for team meetings.
What You'll Do
Develop the Overall Project Plan:
- Develop a Detailed Project Plan to Deliver:
- Capture the scope within the Detailed Project Plan.
- Assign and manage resources to specific tasks/milestones within the Detailed Project Plan.
- A Gantt chart is to be developed in the provided tools and utilized to track the project schedule.
Execute the Project Plan:
- Be accountable for the successful delivery of the project — on time and within budget — producing a delighted client.
- Monitor Project Progress:
- Create and deliver regular project status reports.
- Maintain internal project tracking systems information to be accurate and up-to-date for input to reports and dashboards.
- Manage project task/milestone acceptance documentation and initiate appropriate invoicing and revenue recognition.
- Own problem resolution related to all aspects of the project, working with the client, account teams and internal management, as necessary.
- Manage scope changes via internal change order processes.
Develop and Maintain Strong Client Relationships:
- Develop a “trusted advisor” relationship with clients.
- Provide strong, clear communications to all project stakeholders.
Successfully Close the Project:
- Upon project completion, handle all related project close-out functions:
- Release project resources, as appropriate.
- Provide feedback to the Business Development team on the delivery of the project against the plan as sold.
- Capture and share lessons learned for future delivery engagements for continuous improvement.

Qualifications
- BS degree or higher, or equivalent industry experience (5 years or more) desired.
- Fluency in written and spoken English is essential. Fluency in French Germany or Spanish would be advantageous.
- PMP (or similar) Certification, or equivalent industry experience (5 years or more) desired.
- Industry experience as a Project Delivery Lead or Project/Program Manager for 5 or more years desired.
