Job Description

As a Category Manager for Frozen Products, you will be responsible for owning and driving end-to-end category performance. This role requires strong analytical capability, operational excellence, and supplier management to ensure optimal sales growth, margin improvement, and inventory efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end category performance including sales, margin, stock availability, and service levels
• Monitor and manage frozen product stock on hand daily using data-driven analysis
• Conduct deep SKU-level data analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
• Lead monthly business reviews and regular meetings with vendors and brand partners
• Serve as the primary point of contact for suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Improve and streamline the Purchase Order (PO) process to achieve optimal COGS
• Drive fulfillment rate and service level improvements
• Strengthen forecasting, replenishment planning, and inventory management
• Ensure smooth execution of end-to-end processes from procurement to fulfillment
• Identify operational gaps and implement continuous improvements
• Lead, coach, and develop the Category Management team
• Proactively resolve issues and manage cross-functional coordination

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• At least 6-8 years of professional experience, with experience in managing frozen products considered a strong advantage, and a minimum of 2 years of demonstrated leadership experience.
• Prior experience in category management, procurement, or supply chain operations is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform in-depth SKU-level data analysis.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis tools.
• Strong negotiation skills, particularly in managing and optimizing COGS.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities with strong analytical thinking.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Demonstrates curiosity, initiative, and a strong willingness to learn.
• Proven ability to lead, manage, and develop team members effectively.
