Core Responsibilities

Commercial & Transactional Legal

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements - including but not limited to vendor, partnership, service, NDA, and marketing collaboration agreements.
  • Serve as a reliable legal partner to business teams, delivering practical and solution oriented advice on day to day operational matters.

Regulatory & Risk

  • Conduct legal risk assessments for new business initiatives, product launches, promotions, and partnerships.
  • Monitor relevant regulatory developments and advise on their operational implications for the business.

Cross Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate actively with cross-functional teams including Commercial, Operations, Marketing, Finance, and Tech/Product.
  • Support Legal Manager in managing the team's overall workload and legal pipeline.

Key Skills

  • Strong contract drafting, review, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to translate legal risk into clear, actionable business guidance.
  • High responsiveness and capacity to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, including urgent ad hoc requests.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills; comfortable engaging and advising non-legal teams.
  • Solid sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in both Bahasa Indonesia and English.

Requirements

Education

  • Minimum Bachelor of Law (S.H.) from a reputable university.

Experience

  • 4-5 years of legal experience, ideally combining law firm and in-house counsel exposure.
  • Prior experience in a technology, e-commerce, or startup environment is strongly preferred.

Knowledge & Technical Skills

  • Strong grounding in commercial contracts and regulatory in Indonesia.
  • Familiarity with Indonesian regulatory frameworks relevant to BPOM, logistics, e-commerce, and digital platforms is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of UU PDP (Personal Data Protection Law) and its operational implications.
  • Understanding of employment law basics to support cross functional HR legal queries as needed.
