About This Position:
As a Stock Count Auditor Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the company’s inventory across warehouses and operational hubs. This role is responsible for conducting both scheduled and ad-hoc stock counts, reconciling discrepancies between physical and system records, and identifying root causes behind inventory variances.
Job Description:
- Conduct periodic and ad-hoc stock counts at warehouses and hubs to ensure accuracy of inventory records.
- Perform reconciliation of stock variances between actual stock and systems.
- Identify and investigate root causes of inventory variances, and provide supporting documentation.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with inventory management procedures and company policies.
- Prepare a clear and accurate stock count report and analysis, highlighting findings and recommendations.
- Collaborate with warehouse, supply chain, and finance teams to resolve inventory issues.
- Provide recommendations to improve accuracy inventory stock.
- Support process improvements to strengthen inventory control and minimize losses.
- Assist in special audit projects or assignments related to inventory as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (Diploma with strong relevant experience may be considered).
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in stock count, inventory audit, warehouse audit, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of inventory management processes and controls.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and integrity.
- Ability to work in warehouse/field environments with frequent mobility.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Googlesheets and basic data analysis; familiarity with ERP/WMS systems is a plus.
- Willingness to travel frequently to hubs, warehouses, and stores.
