About this Position

As a Category Development Associate, you will play a key role in growing ASTRO's Private Label Food &

Beverage business. You will own category performance, identify growth opportunities, and drive end-to-end

initiatives—from portfolio optimization and competitor analysis to new product development and commercial

execution.

Job Description:

As our Astronaut, your missions are:

● Own and manage the performance of ASTRO's Private Label Food & Beverage portfolio, including

Ready-to-Eat and Ready-to-Drink products.

● Monitor category performance, sales, margins, customer penetration, and key commercial metrics to

identify growth opportunities.

● Conduct market research, competitor benchmarking, pricing analysis, and consumer trend analysis to

recommend new product initiatives.

● Develop and execute category strategies to drive revenue growth, profitability, and portfolio expansion.

● Manage SKU rationalization, assortment planning, and product lifecycle management.

● Collaborate with Procurement, Product Development, Marketing, Campaign, and Supply Chain teams to

ensure successful product launches and execution.

● Coordinate project timelines, stakeholder communications, product samples, and launch readiness.

● Prepare business analysis and performance reports to support strategic decision-making.

● Continuously identify opportunities to improve category performance through data-driven

Requirements:

In order to launch the missions successfully, you need to have:

● Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

● 2–4 years of experience in Category Management, Brand Management, Trade Marketing, or

Commercial, preferably in Food & Beverage, FMCG, Retail, or Quick Commerce.

● Strong understanding of category management, product portfolio, SKU management, and product

lifecycle.

● Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales performance, market trends, customer insights,

and P&L.

● Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets (Pivot Tables, Lookup Functions, Sumifs).

● Experience in competitor analysis, pricing strategy, and category performance monitoring.

● Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project management skills.

● Highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

● Commercially driven with a strong sense of ownership and a growth mindset.
