We are looking for a People Operations Associate to join our Global Shared Services team, at Atlassian. You will provide support to our EMEA-based employees and managers and, in partnership with HR Partners or Centres of Excellence (COEs), to deliver great experiences.

The responsibilities in the role will be broad ie from hire to retire employee life-cycle, such as onboarding & off-boarding, benefits and leave of absence support. You will also contribute to the team projects.

You will proactively look for opportunities to improve our employee experience offerings in EMEA, in collaboration with the Global Shared Services team.

We’re a remote-first company however, this role will require you to come into our office in Gdańsk regularly (once a week) to manage ongoing employee documentation.


Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and organise employee documentation and paperwork according to company policies and legal requirements with coordination with an external vendor

  • To support HR Operations-related questions, from Atlassians based in Poland, France, Germany, Netherlands, Turkey, and United Kingdom

  • Manage requests related to HR policies, programs, procedure through our tools (Workday, Jira, Slack, Gmail)

  • Be the data integrity champion to ensure employee records are up to date. This may include running data audits, managing occupational health certificate

  • Contribute to EMEA projects

  • Understanding of the employment cycle, onboarding and off-boarding processes

  • Solid attention to detail and excellent organisational skills

  • This role requires someone comfortable working in a high volume; fast-paced, results-oriented environment and holding themselves to a very high customer service standard.

  • Demonstrated operational abilities, and process-oriented and able to maintain the accuracy of data in a fast-paced environment

  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the competency to work within a global team environment


Qualifications:

  • Strong English, Polish, and German language skills

  • Knowledge of GDPR

  • Knowledge on work permits, European right to work

  • Experience with Workday or other HR Management systems

  • Knowledge of Atlassian products/tools e.g. Jira Service Desk, Confluence, Trello

  • 1+ years of experience supporting People/HR functions, including administrative experience and knowledge within a global organisation

  • Sound IT literacy skills (Excel, Word, Gmail, etc.)
