We're hiring a Principal Product Manager, reporting to a Senior Group Product Manager. You love working with customers and solving complex enterprise problems. You have prior success driving strategies focused on customer retention and success. You can inspire a team through setting clear goals, making decisions, and communicating crisply to all audiences. You are passionate about working with a multi-skilled, geographically distributed team to build and deliver mission-critical capabilities for customers. You're comfortable building relationships across product teams and departments to make sure we are all on the same page.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with other team members to define a vision, strategy and form a compelling product roadmap that makes Confluence a scalable and trusted product for our enterprise customers

• Partner with other Atlassian teams to help customers transition from on-premise to cloud solutions following our company priorities and strategy

• Solve unique challenges, partnering with engineering, design, marketing, data and support specialists to ship projects and lead your teams to success.

Your background

• 8+ years product management experience, working on mature products for enterprise customers

• Experience defining the product vision, strategy, and delivering value that solves problems for enterprise customers

• Strength in prioritising opportunities, balancing the needs of our customers with those of our business, and communicating the rationale behind your decisions, including to executive leadership

• Technical fluency to understand and deliver on complex, enterprise-level requirements, with a focus on security, compliance or administration

• Experience with building relationships and influencing without authority at all levels of the organisation

• Comfortable defining and tracking important business and success metrics

• You are customer-centric and you enjoy working directly with design and engineering to ship delightful experiences

• Experience communicating complex technical concepts to a variety of audiences

• It's great, but not required if you have:

  • Computer science or a related technical degree

  • Experience working on enterprise-focused areas (B2B)

  • Previous experience in the fields of project management, collaboration, and enterprise software.
