  • Drive the day-to-day execution of key Commerce programs including program establishment, planning, resourcing, risk and issue mitigation, decision making, and statusing; dive in deep to ensure optimal velocity and get back on track if needed

  • Improve delivery velocity through risk and issue mitigation, statusing, operating delivery statusing, and identifying/driving/influencing cross-functional velocity improvement initiatives

  • Define and refine the program delivery processes for large-scale programs and adding those frameworks to Atlassian operating system

  • Confidently partner closely with leaders – engineering, product, design, GTM and platform teams to ensure prioritization, decision making, unblocking, and rapid execution of Commerce related priorities in to our product lines

  • Operate delivery planning rhythms in line with Atlassian business rhythms, holding functional leaders accountable

  • Develop and execute the program strategy, roadmap, and timeline, aligning with business objectives and stakeholders.

  • Lead cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, sales, marketing, and customer support.

  • Manage program scope, budget, and resources, ensuring effective allocation and utilization.

  • Foster collaboration and communication among teams, stakeholders, and executives.

  • Identify and mitigate program risks, developing contingency plans as needed.

  • Ensure compliance with Atlassian's quality, security, and governance standards.

  • Drive program governance, reporting progress to senior leadership and the program steering committee.

  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement, expectation management, and change management.


  • Strong executive presence, able to influence leaders and set strategic and technical direction as part of leadership team

  • Strategic thinking and cross craft direction setting and change leadership

  • Experience with Commerce / Billing related programs, as well as building platforms for leverage; high business acumen

  • Strong data analysis bent, ability to use data to drive decision making

  • Very high learning agility, ability to drive through highly regulated space, balancing rigor and agility

  • Ability to drive change and influence priorities and ways of working of teams that may have conflicting priorities

  • Proven success in managing large-scale cross-functional programs

  • Strong understanding of commerce systems, including SaaS and payment systems

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Experience with Agile methodologies and software development lifecycles.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
