The Teamwork Platform enables users to collaborate across their Atlassian toolset and seamlessly connect their efforts across various tools to move work forward.

We are looking for a passionate Design Lead to drive the design discipline towards this goal. This includes driving the discovery, prioritization, delivery and quality of the work that gets shipped to our multi-product customers. You'll be the craft lead for a team which designs for scale, collaboration, and global experiences across our platform. Additionally, this role would help grow and mature the design capability within Teamwork Platform and across Atlassian as a whole.

Working at Atlassian
This is a remote position. With a sufficient timezone overlap with the team, we're able to hire eligible candidates for this role from any location in Australia and New Zealand.

• Define and deliver large scale, high impact pieces of work across the platform experience.

• Work alongside Product Managers, Engineering, and other key partners who lead the delivery strategy and execution of what we ship to empower Teamwork Platform customers to move work forward.

• Mentor designers across the platform, products and beyond.

• Work across the entire suite of Atlassian products.

• Inform the culture, ways of working, and improvements to our processes.

• Contribute to improving design at Atlassian at a team and organization level. Work closely with Teamwork Platform Design Management to ensure we are strategically aligned.

• Extensive experience in the UX / design craft

• Strong visual and motion skills

• Significant experience with designing & building large scale web software

• A track record of execution and delivering results

• Familiarity with agile software design methodologies & tooling

• Ability to drive design excellence, pushing innovation and quality

• Strong organization and communication skills

• Experience with distributed teams
