Atlassian's mission "to unleash the potential of every team" is the guiding light behind what we do. We have developed well-known products such as Jira, Confluence, and Trello... that fit into the fabric of teamwork across different types of teams and the processes to help every team succeed.

Atlassian helps teams everywhere change the world. Our products are revolutionising the software industry, and helping teams collaborate and create the magic that provides their best work. Think NASA launching the Rover on Mars or Cochlear gifting those born deaf with the ability to hear, your work directly impacts the products they use to promote humanity.

About Cloud Transition Team

Atlassian's mission is to get our cloud-ready for every customer. As part of that vision, we want our SaaS offerings to be ready and widely adopted by enterprise customers. Enterprise customers make up the majority of our paid users and revenue.

The Cloud Transition organization is chartered to strengthen customer trust through enterprise-grade shared capabilities and delightful experiences.

As part of our cloud strategy, we are on a mission to get our SaaS offerings to be enterprise ready and widely adopted by enterprise customers. Our company goal of 100 million MAU requires mass adoption of our products by knowledge workers, which means building our mass adoption of our products by enterprises. Over the last three years, the Enterprise Transition team has laid the foundation to support enterprise customers with new offerings. In the next three years, we want to accelerate that adoption further to make our cloud-ready for every customer a reality.

The Enterprise Data Portability pillar within Cloud Transition organization primarily provides core features and platform capabilities to support large scale data movement within an enterprise to support various compliance requirements (data residency, backup-restore), cloud footprint optimisations (cloud-to-cloud migration or c2c) and trusted change (sandbox)

Enterprise customers consider the capability to move large amounts of data within and outside their cloud site as an important functionality for getting ready to use Atlassian's cloud offerings. Data portability today consists of different mechanisms and customer-facing features that allow the customers to manage their data in the form of cloud-to-cloud offerings, backup & restore and other import/export capabilities. It is a crucial part of our enterprise cloud readiness story and continues to be one of the top asks for cloud adoption.

With this program, we are trying to unify the platform and experience for the customers to guide them through the journey regarding what tools to use and when. It also encompasses providing a centralised data portability platform that can provide a skeleton to different feature teams in respective cloud products to easily integrate with the capabilities.
