We're hiring a thought leader to join our team based out of EMEA that will manage EMEA and APAC teams. You will report to the Global Senior Leader of Mission Directors.

Your Future team

The Atlassian Mission Directors team is a globally distributed team of Atlassian project and program managers. They are dedicated to steering business outcomes and accomplishing objectives and goals through continuous collaboration, alignment, and strategic guidance. Mission Directors collaborate with Strategic Enterprise organizations facing intricate business hurdles, assisting them in devising and delivering solutions for their teams. Our key collaborates are Product and Engineering teams that will directly connect with our customers to deepen our knowledge about customers' requirements in achieving our Company Mission to help unleash the potential of every team.

Your role will span across various time zones and cultures, requiring a delicate balance in identifying innovative approaches to business development while mitigating risks to current operations and scalability.

Working closely with decision-makers in major customer organizations, your role involves fostering comprehension of crucial decisions. You will assist customers in navigating a structured framework to analyze their challenges and achieve results more efficiently, while also mentoring others.

You bring a wealth of experience to the table, with over 10 years of expertise leadership in customer facing roles. Your unique skill set combines driving innovation, executive communication and influecing without authority, with strong people leadership abilities, making you an invaluable contribuitor in any team.

  • Directly manage a team of 8-10 people based out of EMEA and APAC.

  • Mentor, coach and hire new team members supporting their onboarding, up-skilling and ongoing growth;

  • Monitor and drive team success metrics, highlight dependencies, and develop strategic plans to achieve desired outcomes.

  • Contribute to company objectives and goals by fostering cross-functional alignment.

  • Work closely with the Product and Engineering teams to analyze trends and customer needs, develop business cases to assist in prioritizing the roadmap.

  • Prepare and lead Executive Briefings with customers' leadership to facilitate an in-depth understanding of the project status, risks, and dependencies.

  • Collaborate with cross functional leaders to ensure shared understanding, prioritization and shared goals achievement;

Your background

  • 10+ years of experience leading team(s) and experience with mentoring and developing others

  • You are comfortable speaking and influencing senior leadership internally and externally

  • Experience working on cross-team projects, engaging with Sales, Product, Support, and other teams

  • Experience working with large, enterprise customers in a consulting, customer implementation or services delivery capacity

  • Proven ability in managing customer engagement, including handling escalations, advocating for customers, and overseeing multiple projects concurrently

  • Familiarity with SaaS services, Cloud technology, IT infrastructure, project governance, and technical project delivery

  • Expertise in change management and implementing solutions for successful adoption
