Here at Atlassian we're growing our Australian footprint. We are looking for a Senior Executive Principal Recruiter to join our Global R&D Executive Recruiting team and be part of the journey!

In this role, you'll use your detective skills to find the best and brightest executive talent across Engineering, Product and Design in the world. You'll match future Atlassian's to their dream job and provide a legendary candidate experience that people share.

You'll have responsibility for all parts of the recruitment lifecycle, including driving candidate pipelines, branding the company as an employer of choice and guiding hiring manager relationships. You thrive in a dynamic, sometimes ambiguous environment and enjoy sourcing, engaging and hiring the best talent in the market. You’ll also have the chance to partner with Researchers and Sourcers across a variety or searches. You are someone who isn't happy doing things the way they've always been done, but instead promotes innovation, and uses experience to drive programs of work to produce results.

What you'll do

  • Be a partner and business advisor to Executive leaders to hire complex senior level positions across the R&D organisation

  • Partner with other Executive Recruiters and Recruiting Leaders to bring a holistic hiring picture to the executive leaders you support

  • Drive recruitment strategy by using market data and other metrics to create a narrative and educate hiring leaders on best practices, process and opportunity areas

  • Identify opportunity areas and create scalable solutions that will improve the broader Recruiting team with the right level of collaboration and visibility to leadership and appropriate partners

  • Proactively be a mentor and "go to" for the broader Recruiting team on best practices, challenges and development

  • Partner and collaborate with the Recruiting Leadership team to implement plans around our OKRs


On your first day, we'll expect you to have:

  • In-house or agency recruiting experience within the technology sector.

  • A background in the software industry and a strong understanding of the competitive landscape today for software recruiting.

  • The ability to manage large candidate pipelines across crafts while maintaining a high-quality experience.

  • Experience partnering with senior leaders across various functions through complex sourcing and hiring processes.

  • Experience using innovative sourcing methodologies and non-traditional channels.

  • You have a consultative approach with hiring manager communities, with an appetite for influencing win/win outcomes through data, market insights, and creative ideas.

  • Familiarity with relevant tools and programs (e.g., applicant tracking systems - we use iCIMS, LinkedIn, Linked In Talent Insights, referral programs, HR Headcount systems and job boards).

  • A focus on building balanced teams. Atlassian places huge value in making our TEAM a place where everyone can be themselves. You will help drive that.

  • Comfortable acting as the face of Atlassian, showcasing our values and opportunities to internal and external candidates.

Compensation

At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:

Zone A: $174,200 - $232,200

Zone B: $156,700 - $209,000

Zone C: $144,500 - $192,700

This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
