Job Overview

Our expanding Enterprise business greatly relies on our global network of Solution Partners. The partner marketing team at Atlassian plays a crucial role in empowering our partners to thrive through the delivery of cutting-edge marketing programs, comprehensive campaigns, and targeted assets tailored to specific personas. We are currently in search of a seasoned senior professional to lead the APAC team, possessing in-depth regional knowledge, including a strong understanding of the APAC market and proficiency in Asian languages. You will be based in Australia or New Zealand.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Channel Sales team and partners to drive the achievement of annual Channel objectives. Your responsibilities will include translating global priorities into local market strategies and leveraging data and local insights to craft impactful campaigns that foster awareness, engagement, and preference in the region.

Roles/Responsibilities

  • Create and implement a region-specific partner marketing strategy that utilizes various integrated marketing approaches to empower partners in attracting new customers and expanding current accounts. This strategy should encompass our designated APAC territories, including AuNZ, Greater China, Southeast Asia, Korea, and India

  • Set up a longer term partner marketing strategy per market, find empty holes and fill them in by accessing our marketing exposure per territory/country in APAC

  • Create marketing plans for partners that support local channel sales and help them build a strong partner sourced pipeline

  • Work with APAC Partner Managers to define business and marketing plans that will assist them in achieving their pipeline and revenue targets across our cloud platform and solutions

  • Define the co-marketing strategy for the APAC region that will broaden the reach of Atlassian and our partners

  • Create an effective APAC Development Fund program strategy that results in high ROI activities.

  • Understand the requirements of local partners for program localization and provide support for local execution.

  • Carry out assessments to gauge the readiness of partners for marketing activities

  • Evaluate the marketing performance of partners and recommend improvements

  • Measure, analyze, and report on local partner marketing pipeline-building activities to assess their impact on pipeline health and to evaluate the effectiveness and return on investment (ROI) of marketing efforts

  • Partner with Marketing & Sales Analytics to define requirements for reporting/dashboards is crucial to support regional and/or corporate initiatives.

  • Support collection and analysis of indirect buyer insights and audience segmentation

  • Advocate on behalf of the APAC channel sales team and partners to educate the Atlassian corporate marketing team on their needs

  • Support local channel sales efforts to recruit partners that match local requirements

  • Oversight of our internal resource who manages local 3rd party marketing demand gen agencies for APAC

  • Team management involves the recruitment and development of marketing talent, as well as several key responsibilities:

    • Ensuring the team delivers precise and up-to-date activity reports

    • Providing continuous marketing training and enhancing the team's skills

    • Ensuring the team delivers exceptional marketing support and resolves any obstacles

    • Supervising the team's workload and monitoring their progress towards objectives
