Your future team
The Getting Started team in the Launch mission in JSM is comprised of people with backgrounds in Scala, Java, Kotlin and JavaScript with strong experience in delivery and operational excellence. The team is responsible for building some of our flagship features as we move into new markets in the service management space.
With a background in software engineering and engineering management, you'll help us continue to provide excellent solutions to customers, keep the team's engagement at its current high, and achieve success for the engineers.
What you'll do
Work in a triad with a product owner and a designer to set the product and technical roadmap for the team over the financial year
Provide mentorship and growth opportunities for the engineers in your team
Partner with sibling teams to find shared ways to win when working in common areas
Lead the scoping and prioritisation of work on the roadmap, balancing feature and operational work
Identify and report on success metrics for the team
Your background
You'll prefer taking an iterative approach to delivery with frequent deployment and smaller changes
You care strongly about the customer and their experience, and will advocate for changes that improve this
You are comfortable delegating to others and can take a strategic approach to delivery
You love growing the capabilities and expertise of your team members, and help them set and achieve career goals
