Key Responsibilities:

1. Risk Management Framework Development:

   • Design and implement an ERM framework that aligns with the organization’s strategic goals.

   • Establish policies, procedures, and tools for identifying, assessing, monitoring, and reporting risks.

2. Risk Identification and Assessment:

   • Identify potential risks (strategic, operational, financial, compliance, etc.) across the organization.

   • Conduct risk assessments to determine the likelihood and impact of risks.

   • Prioritize risks and develop risk registers.

3. Risk Mitigation Strategies:

   • Develop and recommend strategies to manage and mitigate identified risks.

   • Work with business units to implement risk controls and mitigation plans.

   • Monitor the effectiveness of risk mitigation strategies and adjust as necessary.

4. Risk Reporting:

   • Prepare regular risk reports for senior management and the board of directors.

   • Ensure transparency in risk reporting and provide insights into emerging risks.

   • Communicate risk exposures and risk management activities to stakeholders.

5. Compliance and Regulatory Management:

   • Ensure the organization complies with relevant laws, regulations, and standards.

   • Keep up-to-date with changes in regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

   • Coordinate with legal and compliance teams to manage regulatory risks.

6. Training and Awareness:

   • Promote a risk-aware culture throughout the organization.

   • Conduct training sessions and workshops on risk management for employees.

   • Ensure all employees understand their role in the risk management process.

7. Leadership and Collaboration:

   • Act as the primary liaison with external auditors, regulators, and other stakeholders regarding risk management.

   • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of risk management professionals.

   • Foster a collaborative environment where risk management is viewed as a critical business function.

   • Ensure that the ERM team has the necessary resources, tools, and training to execute their responsibilities effectively.

8. ERM Tool Development and Integration:

   • Design, develop, and implement tools and software solutions to automate risk management processes.

   • Integrate ERM tools with other enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, GRC, CRM) to ensure seamless data flow and reporting.

   • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure the successful deployment and integration of ERM tools across the organization.

9. Process Automation:

   • Identify manual and repetitive tasks within the ERM process that can be automated to improve efficiency and reduce errors.

   • Develop and implement automation scripts, workflows, and bots to streamline risk identification, assessment, monitoring, and reporting.

   • Monitor the performance of automated processes and make adjustments as needed to improve effectiveness.

10. Stakeholder Engagement:

    • Engage with key stakeholders, including investors, regulators, and customers, to communicate the organization’s risk management efforts.

    • Promote transparency and build trust by providing clear and accurate information about the organization’s risk profile and management practices.
