End-to-end payroll processing for international payrolls for employees located in multiple states, local and international countries, including accurate and timely payroll processing, ensuring all necessary documentation is received, and processing of all employee changes and updates.
Support payroll operations in other APAC and EMEA regions as needed.
Support and/or lead various payroll projects.
Assist in payroll systems deployment.
Drive improvement and deliver scaleable processes.
Ensure audit controls are strictly followed and identify any gaps.
Liaise with internal teams and external vendors as the payroll SME.
Respond to employees/internal queries.
Ensure compliance with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements, including tax filings, social security payments, and other required government contributions.
Partner with cross-functional teams to identify, design, and implement process improvements to streamline payroll processes, increase efficiency, and enhance the employee experience.
Monitor and manage payroll-related expenses, including reviewing and reconciling monthly payroll reports and addressing discrepancies as needed.
Work with HR, Finance, and other stakeholders to support various payroll-related initiatives, including new market expansion, year-end payroll reconciliations, tax reporting, and other audits.
Stay up-to-date with changes in payroll regulations and requirements in India, and adjust processes accordingly.
10 years+ payroll experience, including global payrolls.
Extensive payroll experience with large and complex payrolls.
Strong knowledge in Global Payroll laws and regulations.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Critical thinker and strong problem solving skills.
Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Strong organisational, people & time management skillsProven track record in delivering small to large payroll projects.
Experience with payroll system implementations - either in-house or outsourced.
Embrace and drive change.
A self-starter who is confident calling out risks, when necessary.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Workday and Jira experience a plus ideal applicant should be tech-savvy.
