Scaled Sales Associates play a crucial role in guiding customers through their Atlassian cloud journey. The primary objective is to demonstrate to SMB customers how Atlassian products can effectively support their objectives. Operating at scale, Sales Associates are expected to advocate for their customers, offering valuable insights to our product and engineering teams to enhance the customer experience. This collaborative effort is closely coordinated with our Product specialists and Marketing organization.
Sales Associates are known for their customer-centric approach and innovative thinking. You will report to the Sales Manager of your geo. This is a remote job for Philippines-based candidates.
In this role, you will:
Manage inbound requests (through chat, email, and phone) from hand raisers, providing exceptional customer experiences by addressing their queries promptly and effectively, and converting these requests into a closed sale and maintaining a healthy sales conversion. This involves not only resolving their immediate concerns but also understanding their underlying needs to recommend suitable solutions.
Assist customers in finding optimal product & features solutions, as well as ensuring that they have access to the tools and services they need to thrive in their respective industries. Our inbound requests often start with billing, licensing, and pricing inquiries. SSAs are tasked with assisting customers with these topics but also actively driving the conversation beyond them, to showcase the value of different product plans and features, help choose the right fit, and share resources for successful trial and adoption.
Guide customers through their buyer journey, assisting them at every stage to make informed decisions that align with their goals and objectives.
Able to identify potential upsell and cross-sell opportunities tailored to individual customer needs and requirements to assist in maximizing revenue opportunities.
Overall, the goal is to deliver a phenomenal customer experience that instills confidence and trust in our SMB customers, fostering long-term engagement, loyalty and establish Atlassian as their go-to partner.
Your background:
Sales experience or sales accument (preferrably in Tech) with customer-centric approach - familiar with sales processes and sales stages.
Candidates who are tech-savvy and comfortable with utilizing digital tools and platforms would thrive in this role. Ideally having familiarity with tech/software products, understanding their functionalities, and being able to effectively communicate their value propositions to customers would be greatly benefitial.
Whether through inside sales roles or direct customer engagement, a proven track record of driving sales and meeting targets would be advantageous.
Closing experience preferred.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
Experience in customer support. Particularly in handling queries through various channels such as queue, chat, and phone as the ability to navigate through customer inquiries efficiently, provide timely and accurate solutions, and ensure a positive customer experience is crucial.
