In support of our mission, we are seeking an Analyst to join our FP&A team. Want to help us transform the travel experience? The ideal candidate will have had experience in month end close process, constructing budgets, and performing ad hoc analyses across the business.

The Analyst role reports to the Director, FP&A and will require a weekly in-office presence on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

What you’ll do as the FP&A Analyst:

  • Assist in annual budgeting and forecast process deliverables

  • Partner with Accounting on month end department variance and accrual analyses

  • Identify key variance drivers and analyze potential risks and opportunities

  • Perform special projects and ad-hoc analyses across all areas of the business

  • Establish and maintain communication with business partners regarding department spend

  • Deliver weekly reporting on business performance and KPIs

Who you are:

  • 1+ years of professional experience within Finance/Accounting field

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or other related field

  • Strong Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling skills required

  • Experience with financial systems (SAP, D365) planning tools (Hyperion, Planful) and data visualization tools (Looker, Tableau)

  • Understanding of accounting principles and fundamentals of financial statement analysis

  • Interested in continuously learning and taking on new and varied responsibilities

  • Team player with a "no task is too small" attitude

  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment

  • Passionate about transforming travel (but that’s a given!)

Compensation Package:

Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of our total rewards program that also includes benefits, bonus, equity and various social and professional investment opportunities at Away. Pay decisions are based on a number of factors, including scope and qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to other Away employees. We expect the majority of the candidates who are offered roles at Away to fall healthily within the range based on these factors.

  • Salary Range: $78,000.00 - $85,000.00 annually

  • This role is eligible to participate in Away’s Annual Company Performance Bonus Plan, the terms of which are determined on an annual basis at the discretion of the company

  • Equity Grant: commensurate with level determined at the discretion of the company
