In support of our mission, we are seeking a Data & Analytics Manager, Marketing to join our Data & Analytics team. Want to help us transform the travel experience? The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of data analytics and complex data systems. They must be proficient with advanced analytics tools and have exceptional abilities in cross-functional collaboration and communication, with a particular focus on performance and digital marketing.

This role reports to the Director of Data & Analytics and will require a weekly in-office presence on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop and execute strategies for our performance and digital marketing data infrastructure, ensuring alignment with organizational goals

  • Take charge of seamlessly integrating external data sources (i.e. MMM and MTA models, channel performance data) into our existing data stack, ensuring accessibility to facilitate informed decision-making and operational efficiency

  • Provide leadership and mentorship, ensuring cohesive collaboration across different departments to bolster and advance our global logistics network

  • Work in tandem with the marketing teams, leveraging data analytics to inform and guide strategic decisions across the organization

  • Lead the development and enhancement of analytical dashboards, focusing on both the transformation of data and the delivery of comprehensive insights for strategic and efficient marketing

  • Adapt and respond swiftly to new business opportunities and developments with relevant data-driven strategies

  • Lead the transformation of complex data into accessible, visually appealing, and actionable insights for various stakeholders

Who you are:

  • You possess at least four years of professional experience in analytics, ideally within marketing or a related field

  • Proficient in advanced analytics tools (e.g., SQL, BI tools) and familiar with data warehousing technologies like Amazon Redshift or Google BigQuery

    • Experience with dbt or Looker is a huge plus!

  • You possess a deep understanding of the data that drives marketing analytics especially in a direct-to-consumer business context

  • Skilled at identifying areas for improvement and leading the charge in implementing innovative, data-driven solutions

  • You excel at seeing the bigger picture, making strategic decisions that drive value and efficiency

  • Team player with a "no task is too small" attitude

  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment

  • Passionate about transforming travel (but that’s a given!)

Compensation Package:

Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of our total rewards program that also includes benefits, bonus, equity and various social and professional investment opportunities at Away. Pay decisions are based on a number of factors, including scope and qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to other Away employees. We expect the majority of the candidates who are offered roles at Away to fall healthily within the range based on these factors.

  • Salary Range: $130,000.00 - $140,000.00 annually

  • This role is eligible to participate in Away’s Annual Company Performance Bonus Plan, the terms of which are determined on an annual basis at the discretion of the company

  • Equity Grant: commensurate with level determined at the discretion of the company
