Join The Crew
We are hiring a Senior Amazon Account Manager to lead our Amazon 3P channel, one of the fastest-growing parts of our wholesale business. Reporting to the Director of Wholesale, this role will own day-to-day management of Amazon, drive topline performance, and partner closely with our external agency to scale the channel with excellence.
This is an exciting opportunity to build and grow a critical sales channel within a brand that’s already beloved by travelers everywhere. We’re looking for a digitally fluent, data-savvy operator who understands how to optimize listings, manage performance marketing, maintain healthy inventory, and ensure a best-in-class customer experience — all while collaborating cross-functionally and externally to deliver against aggressive growth goals.
What you’ll do as the Senior Amazon Account Manager
Channel Ownership & Growth
Own the performance of Away’s Amazon 3P business, including topline sales, margin contribution, and operational health
Manage all product listings, A+ content, keyword optimization, and pricing to maximize discoverability and conversion
Drive strategy and execution across promotional events, marketing spend, and performance advertising in partnership with Tinuiti
Monitor Buy Box performance, competitor benchmarking, and category trends to identify opportunities and risks
Agency & Partner Management
Act as the primary day-to-day lead with our external agency, setting priorities, reviewing results, and holding the team accountable to performance goals
Collaborate on creative briefs, campaign strategies, and advertising optimizations, ensuring alignment with brand and business objectives
Coordinate with internal teams to supply assets, product details, and promotional calendars in a timely and accurate manner
Collaborate with agency partners and internal teams to assess and update product assortment, identifying key opportunities for adds, edits, or removals
Collaborate with agency partners and internal teams to analyze demand and supply reports to improve inventory availability and optimize in-stock rates across the channel
Inventory & Fulfillment
Work closely with Planning and Logistics teams to maintain healthy stock levels, proactively managing FBA replenishment and FBM performance
Partner with our 3PL to ensure seamless fulfillment, minimize out-of-stocks, and uphold Amazon compliance standards
Use sales trends and forecast inputs to support replenishment planning and reduce inventory risk
Customer Insights & Brand Health
Monitor product reviews, ratings, and customer feedback to identify recurring issues or opportunities to improve product content and experience
Track support inquiries and collaborate with CX to resolve escalations and inform product and operational improvements
Maintain brand integrity on the platform through continuous content optimization, compliance management, and alignment with Away’s tone and visual identity
Reporting & Optimization
Analyze performance across traffic, conversion, ROAS, and profitability to inform both short- and long-term decisions
Deliver regular reporting and insights to cross-functional stakeholders, surfacing what’s working and where we need to pivot
Who you are
You have proven experience owning and growing an Amazon 3P (Seller Central) business, ideally within a consumer brand or high-growth startup
You understand the mechanics of FBA/FBM, PDP optimization, Amazon Ads, and how to win the Buy Box
You’ve worked with agencies like Tinuiti or similar and know how to set expectations, collaborate, and drive accountability
You’re a natural problem-solver who enjoys working cross-functionally across Planning, Ops, Marketing, and CX
You’re analytical and detail-oriented — you thoroughly evaluate data in spreadsheets and Seller Central dashboards and always tie what you find back to action
You care about delivering a great customer experience and are motivated by both growth and operational excellence
You’re creative and innovative; you love to build great new things that are fresh and unique while staying on brand
You’re agile, and motivated by a fast-paced and ever changing environment
You’re passionate about transforming travel for all (but that’s a given!)
Excited to join the team, but not sure you meet all of the qualifications? Please apply, we’d still love to hear from you.
