Role Description

  • Develop and execute effective distribution & channel sales strategies to drive business growth for GPS/Fastag/Fuel Sensor/Fuel Card products.
  • Identify, recruit, and manage distributors and channel partners.
  • Drive Primary Sales, Secondary Sales & Tertiary Sales in assigned territory.
  • Visit assigned territories as per PJP.
  • Train and support distributors and channel partners to ensure a comprehensive understanding of product features, benefits, and value propositions.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Forecast sales projections and drive targets to meet company objectives.
  • Monitor distributor and channel partner performance, provide regular support and performance feedback, and implement improvement plans as needed.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including partners, distributors, and internal teams.
  • Collaborate with the telematics team for service-related issues of distributors, channel partners, and end customers.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience of 2-4 years in distribution and channel sales with a sound knowledge of GPS products.
  • Strong understanding of channel partner's ecosystems, distribution channels, and sales strategies.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze sales data, market trends, and customer behavior to make strategic decisions.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel to meet with partners and assigned territories.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, or a related field.
  • Account Management, Relationship Management, and Business Development skills.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Experience in the GPS, logistics or transportation industry
  • Knowledge of data analysis and reporting.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
