Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Executive role based in Trivandrum. The Sales Executive will welcome customers to the store, understand their preferences, and provide informed guidance on BlueStone’s jewellery collections to support purchase decisions. Responsibilities include achieving sales targets, managing customer queries, offering product demonstrations, and ensuring a high-quality in-store experience aligned with BlueStone’s brand standards. The role also involves maintaining visual merchandising, handling basic billing and documentation, and following up with customers to build long-term relationships and repeat business. The Sales Executive will collaborate with store leadership and colleagues to support daily operations, promotional activities, and overall store performance.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong customer service and interpersonal skills, including active listening, relationship building, and a professional, customer-centric approach.
  • Candidates should possess sales and negotiation skills, including consultative selling, upselling and cross-selling capabilities, and the ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Candidates should possess communication skills, including clear verbal communication in English and local languages, confident presentation of products, and the ability to explain features, pricing, and policies.
  • Candidates should possess retail operations skills, including basic billing and documentation, inventory awareness, and attention to store hygiene and visual merchandising.
  • Candidates should possess problem-solving and organizational skills, including handling customer concerns, managing multiple customers during peak hours, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Prior experience in jewellery, luxury retail, or lifestyle brands is an advantage; familiarity with digital tools or omnichannel retail platforms is beneficial.
  • A minimum of a high school diploma; a bachelor’s degree in business, commerce, or a related field is preferred.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as per retail store requirements.
