The Company:

Marigold helps brands foster customer relationships through the science and art of connection. Marigold Relationship Marketing is a suite of world-class martech solutions that help marketers create long term customer love and loyalty. Marigold provides the most comprehensive set of use cases for marketers at any level. Headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, Marigold has offices globally across the United States, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, South America and Central America, as well as in Japan.

The Role:

As a Senior Product Marketing Manager at Marigold, your mission will be to create value positioning that will be the foundation of how we present our Commercial/SMB product offerings in the market through storytelling. You’ll partner with cross-functional teams to bring products to market and grow them beyond launch, representing the voice of the customer at every stage of the go-to-market process. You’ll sit at the intersection of Product, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success and will create the tools and materials those teams need to sell to new business and expand existing business. Your efforts will contribute to prospect conversion, customer retention, and overall Marigold growth.

What You’ll Do:

  • Standardize and lead the way in which Product Adoption Customer Engagement (PACE), Product, Marketing, and Enablement teams launch new features and products.

  • Develop personas to provide strategic guidance for product development, positioning, marketing, and sales efforts.

  • Create product positioning and value prop for our Commercial/SMB offerings.

  • Partner with Marketing to develop messaging that will live across our website and on prospect/customer facing materials.

  • Maintain source material such as positioning decks and data-based use cases that Marketing, Enablement, and PACE teams use as a foundation to generate compelling collateral.

  • Support the content strategies of our Marketing and PACE teams to drive website traffic and ongoing customer engagement.

  • Closely collaborate with the Product team on feature prioritization across roadmaps using inputs such as competitive intelligence and customer feedback.

  • Synthesize competitive intelligence and product value to inform sales strategies, positioning, and tools such as battle cards and one pagers to improve sales effectiveness.

  • Be the Product Marketing point of contact for senior stakeholders across the business for strategic projects and initiatives.

About You:

The ideal candidate will have had experience as a PMM expert in a SaaS technology company (preferably in the digital marketing product space) selling to Commercial/SMB customers. You will be the primary connection point between many Marigold teams, so your communication skills, and ability to work cross-functionally are incredibly important. This role is part of a wider Product Marketing team and Product Adoption Customer Engagement (PACE) team that spans both the Commercial/SMB and Enterprise sides of our portfolio.

Ideal Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or relevant field of study.

  • 5-8 years product marketing experience in a SaaS technology company.

  • Preferably experience with Commercial/SMB target audience.

  • Preferably experience working with a portfolio of products.

  • Exposure to performing competitive market analysis.

  • Ability to interpret results to action improvements.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication.

  • Employee-centric and supportive remote work environment with flexibility.
