Overview:

Marigold, a leader in digital marketing solutions, is seeking a dynamic Portfolio Manager to oversee the renewal and upsell processes within our established Enterprise customer base. This role serves as a strategic partner to our Customer Success team, employing a consultative and value-driven approach to maximize customer retention and growth opportunities.

Role Mission:

As a Portfolio Manager, you will be instrumental in forging robust customer relationships and enhancing the financial performance of Marigold through strategic renewal strategies and innovative upsell initiatives. This position offers a remarkable opportunity for a driven professional eager to influence our sales processes and customer engagement methodologies directly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic renewal plans and pricing proposals, ensuring alignment with customer needs and business goals.

  • Manage the end-to-end renewal cycle, facilitating a seamless process in collaboration with the Customer Success team.

  • Maintain accurate records in SFDC to ensure revenue forecast is up-to-date.

  • Engage in a proactive upselling approach both off-cycle and during renewals, focusing on adding value and enhancing customer satisfaction.

  • Continually refine and optimize the renewal process to improve efficiency and outcomes.

  • Assist with the preparation and response to RFPs for existing customers, ensuring tailored solutions that meet their evolving needs.

  • Liaise with internal stakeholders, including Privacy, Legal, Security Operations, and Product teams, to ensure a cohesive and compliant sales process.

  • Stay abreast of industry changes and competitive dynamics that impact your assigned accounts.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • 2-4 years of experience in sales development or renewals, preferably in the SaaS or digital marketing sectors.

  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively and manage multiple projects simultaneously in an enterprise environment.

  • Strong understanding of cloud technology, the SaaS business model, and a solid commercial acumen.

  • Proven track record of achievement against targets.

  • Personality that thrives in a fast-paced, results-oriented work environment

  • Excellent core sales skills.

  • Comfortable in a flexible, entrepreneurial setting, with a proven track record of working independently and taking initiative.

  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Customer Success, Legal, Finance, etc.

  • Ability to engage and influence senior executives (CEOs, CMOs, Directors/VPs of Digital Marketing or Ecommerce).

  • Excellent presentation skills and executive presence.

  • Highly organized, entrepreneurial, and capable of delivering succinct executive-level updates.
