Spotify Advertising Business Marketing team inspires brands and marketers to connect with billions of fans on the platform. The Global Growth Marketing Manager will help accelerate and scale the Spotify Advertising business by driving multi-channel acquisition and retention efforts.
Spotify Advertising is at a pivotal moment when we are experiencing a high velocity of product innovation and increased user growth and engagement. As a business, there is an opportunity to accelerate our advertiser revenue. We are looking for an experienced and passionate growth marketer with a proven track record in cross-functional collaboration to drive meaningful impact in a fast paced environment. The successful candidate for this role will need to have an authentic interest in the customer journey and a deep understanding for testing and implementing multi-channel lifecycle marketing tactics to generate and capture demand. This role will have a particular focus on driving strategic growth through Paid Media, but will also include and/or influence other channels such as Organic, In-product, Email, CTV etc. The primary audience for growth will be self-serve advertisers for our automated bidding platform.
This position reports directly to the Global Director Growth Marketing - Spotify Advertising.

What You'll Do

  • Own the x-channel marketing strategy for self-serve advertiser growth across acquisition, retention and reactivation that drives profitable revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with members of the Growth Marketing team, Analytics on test design and optimization of campaigns
  • Leverage AI and automation tools to build and accelerate deployment of growth initiatives and proactively find new opportunities for growth
  • Work with our Paid Media Agency and Growth Paid Media Manager to optimize our testing roadmap and paid campaign strategy including target audience, messaging and channel mix.
  • Create data-driven growth initiatives across paid, organic, in-product channels etc. to drive new advertiser sign-ups, and retention and working with the various channel owners for alignment and execution.
  • Report on Paid Media and other cross-channel growth initiatives, monitoring key engagement and performance metrics such as CVR, LTV:CAC, ARPA, and Retention Rate.
  • Provide insights by customer persona and create an experimentation roadmap to address key customer pain points across the customer journey from consideration to decision to growth and retention.

Who You Are

  • 6+ years of B2B performance marketing and lifecycle marketing experience in digital media or advertising, with expertise in both SMB or mid-market audiences.
  • 2+ years owning paid media strategy and execution—planning, optimizing, and scaling campaigns across search, social, and emerging high-growth channels.
  • Data-driven and analytical performance marketer who can gather meaningful insights to build hypotheses and A/B tests to quickly test, learn, iterate and scale successful high growth initiatives..
  • Demonstrated experience building and scaling x-channel marketing strategies across paid search, social, organic, CRM, and product globally.
  • Experience managing agencies, budgets, and vendor relationships with discipline and efficiency.
  • Ability to independently manage multiple projects in a fast paced environment and deliver high quality output on time and within budget
  • Strong collaborator and ability to influence senior stakeholders across Marketing, Ops, Sales, and Product as an individual contributor.
  • Customer centric mindset with a passion for the growth discipline and understanding the customer journey, while staying current on the latest industry trends and best practices.

Where You'll Be

  • We offer you the flexibility to work where you work best! For this role, you can be within the North America region as long as we have a work location.
  • This team operates within the EST time zone for collaboration.
The United States base range for this position is $120,185 to $171,693, plus equity. The benefits available for this position include health insurance, six month paid parental leave, 401(k) retirement plan, monthly meal allowance, 23 paid days off, 13 paid flexible holidays, paid sick leave. These ranges may be modified in the future.
