About the role

The Creative Director plays a pivotal role in the wider Carwow Group - leading our in-house creative services offering, including our agency, Moshi. We support the world's largest and best-known automotive brands, as well as exciting new entrants, creating high-impact and innovative partnerships, content, events and creative campaigns to drive meaningful connections with consumers.

The role oversees advertising campaigns for our owned media brands - Carwow, Auto Express, evo, Carbuyer and Driving Electric - and client direct campaigns. This is a new role which will bring two teams together.

What you'll be doing

  • Lead and inspire clients and internal teams
  • Drive team, proposition, and partner relationships with a focus on growth and engagement
  • Lead by example and take a hands-on approach in both client pitches and securing new business opportunities
  • Oversee day-to-day creative delivery and future development of Moshi's proposition, ensuring commercial viability
  • Set the future creative vision for Moshi, balancing creative thinking with commercial acumen
  • Manage creative, project management, production, and design functions, maintaining a balance between creative excellence and budget efficiency
  • Collaborate with team leaders in each function on ideation, pitches, and execution, ensuring projects meet both creative and commercial objectives
  • Work with brand and media teams

What you’ll need

  • A natural ability to tell engaging and impactful stories, winning partners hearts and minds
  • This is a broad role, with both creative and commercial responsibility, you’ll be comfortable operating across both and setting this example for the team
  • A balanced leadership approach, with the ability to take both a hands on approach and set strategic vision for Moshi
  • Experience meeting and building rapport with C-Suite / Senior individuals both internally and externally
  • Using data and insight to make your pitches come alive with client-relevant data, creative best practice and innovations in the industry
  • An understanding of the world of media would be a bonus, although not essential
