About the role
We’re looking for a talented Junior Account Manager to join our hugely successful team during the next phase of our growth. Successful candidates will play a fundamental role in driving platform engagement, client success and partner relations across a portfolio of dealer partners.
What you’ll be doing
- Growing engagement and share of wallet from your portfolio of dealer partners by building strong relationships and demonstrating platform value
- Becoming a credible source of knowledge on vehicle acquisition, how our platform fits in today's marketplace and how to position our product with your dealer partners
- Reporting internally on engagement and retention, changes to your portfolio’s performance and any market relevant information e.g. stock demand
- Look after a large portfolio of smaller dealers, dealing with their inbound queries and requests and understanding how you can best help care for their platform needs
- Be aware of potential churn or lapses in performance, and respond proactively
What you’ll need

- Strong communication skills are essential. Relationship building is a key part of this role
- Activity focussed - this role will involve high levels of telephone and email communication
- Consultative and creative approach to problem solving and collaborative with other departments internally to solve problems
- Proactive and goal orientated; you won’t be micromanaged but you will need to work autonomously to impact your own results - to do this you will have to be relentless in your approach
- Have basic skills in manipulating data in excel/gsheets and drawing relevant insights from which you can define relevant actions
- Be able to clearly document and store updates with our Salesforce system - if you haven’t used Salesforce before though don’t worry - we can teach you what you need to know
- Experience in the automotive space is a plus but not essential, we are more interested in the the behaviours, mindset and approach of a candidate than category experience
- Ability to objection handle and manage challenging conversations with clients where necessary

- Step 2: 1 hour video-call with 2 members of our Account Management Team
- Step 3: 1 hour in-office task-presentation with the Hiring Manager & the Head of Department
