THE ROLE

To create the thumbnail images for the Carwow YouTube channel, helping maximise video performance. You will help form best practices with the photography and deliver high quality images using Photoshop from the provided imagery on shoots. You will also help collate data to help inform the team on how best to package up our content to reach the most people possible.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Responsible for post production of YouTube thumbnail images on the Carwow channels
  • Suggest new thumbnail image ideas and best practices, both for post production and on shoot photo capture.
  • Collate data on video thumbnail performance such as CTR (Click through rate) on a monthly basis
  • Occasionally required on large scale video shoots to help out and take the thumbnail images.
  • Analyse competitor performance and thumbnail strategy to ensure we stay ahead of the curve.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • Mastery of Adobe photoshop
  • Knowledge of photography principles, ideally with photography experience on mirrorless cameras
  • A knowledge or experience of using both YouTube analytics and google sheets.
  • A proven track record of excellent attention to detail
  • A valid UK driving licence
