THE ROLE
We're seeking a dynamic and data-driven Sales Enablement Manager to help us establish best practice, optimise our sales approach and empower our commercial teams with the tools, knowledge, and content they need to succeed. The Sell My Car Commercial team partners with Car Dealers across the UK to utilise our daily online auctions to source quality used car stock. The Commercial team consists of both Business Development & Account Management functions, with focus across acquiring new & growing engagement and revenue spend across our dealer network, varying from small independent businesses, right through to large scale enterprises.
This role is critical in driving best in class commercial execution. From supporting new joiners through onboarding, developing industry leading commercial collateral & driving forward our commercial coaching frameworks to support skill development & adherence to our high standards when engaging with our car dealer partners. You will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between sales, marketing, and product teams, ensuring alignment and evolving our enablement toolkit to maximise commercial performance & productivity.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Create engaging sales materials, including presentations, pitch decks, and enablement resources, using data-driven insights to resonate with our target audience
- Develop and deliver comprehensive sales training programmes, focusing on product knowledge, sales methodologies, and best practices
- Design structured onboarding programmes for new team members, ensuring they progress effectively and achieve key milestones during their probation period
Sales processes & tool optimisation
- Collaborate with RevOps, marketing, and sales teams to streamline sales processes, improve efficiency, and enhance productivity
- Partner with cross-functional teams to manage and optimise sales tools (e.g., Groove, Salesforce), ensuring they meet the evolving needs of the sales team and drive results
Strategy & insights
- Analyse data to identify trends, uncover opportunities, and provide actionable insights to inform and enhance our commercial strategy
- Develop and implement a sales enablement strategy aligned with the company’s overall objectives, ensuring consistency and effectiveness across the sales function
Coaching and collaboration
- Lead the development of our commercial coaching framework, ensuring all team members deliver consistent and high-quality messaging of “Why Carwow” to the market
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across commercial, marketing, product, and revenue operations teams to foster alignment and collaboration
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Demonstrable experience in Sales Enablement or a similar role
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights that drive commercial success
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
- Proficiency in content creation and management tools, with a keen eye for detail
- Experience using CRM and sales engagement platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Groove) to support and optimise sales processes
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to build relationships across teams.
- A proven track record of independently managing and delivering enablement projects from concept to execution.
- Experience in designing and delivering onboarding, training, and upskilling programmes for sales teams, including systems and processes.
- Desirable: Previous experience in Business Development or Account Management roles, providing hands-on insight into sales workflows and challenges
- Desirable: Experience working in technology-driven industries such as SaaS, marketplaces, or e-commerce. Automotive industry experience is not required
