OUR MISSION

To become the car-changing destination of choice. By combining technology, media and deep automotive expertise, we've turned how people buy, sell, advertise and lease cars on its head.

What started as a simple reviews site is now one of the largest online car-changing destinations in Europe. Last year alone we grew over 50% with nearly £3bn worth of cars bought on site, while £1.8bn of cars were listed for sale through our Sell My Car service.

In the last couple of years we have gone big and acquired both Carwow Leasey, a leasing broker and Autovia, creators of AutoExpress and Evo magazines, doubling our audience overnight. Together we now have one of the biggest YouTube channels in the world with almost 10m subscribers and over 1.1 billion annual views, while we sell 1.2 million print copies of our magazines and have an annual web content reach over 350million. We also launched our successful Sell My Car business in Germany. We are continually driving to make Carwow the go-to destination for people looking to change their car.

And we’re a long way from done!

THE ROLE

We have specifically titled this position Paid Search Executive to reflect its specialised focus on the paid search channel. This is a high-impact role designed for an ambitious professional ready to manage significant responsibilities early in their tenure. You will support the UK "Get Your Car" side and contribute to our expansion into the Spanish and German markets. The role offers substantial hands-on involvement, providing the opportunity to test new products and tools on Google faster than in traditional agency or corporate environments.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Campaign Execution: Manage and optimise paid search campaigns across Google and Bing, including traditional search, Google Vehicle Ads, and hybrid formats like Performance Max.

  • Innovation & Testing: Onboard and test new Google features and formats as they are released to maintain market leadership.

  • Data Analysis: Perform robust analysis of performance data to identify trends, influence budget projections, and support forecasting processes.

  • Process Automation: Support the implementation of AI-automated processes to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual intervention.

  • Strategic Growth: Contribute to the used car product strategy, focusing on feed management and expansion into new markets such as Spanish leasing.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work within a co-located London team to facilitate knowledge sharing and align with broader product objectives.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year of professional experience in paid search, with proven proficiency in Google Ads and Bing Ads.

  • Analytical Skills: Strong numerical and analytical capabilities are essential. You must be highly proficient in Google Sheets and capable of manipulating complex data sets to drive insights independently.

  • Professional Attributes: We are seeking a resilient, proactive individual who demonstrates initiative in ambiguous situations and a strong desire for continuous learning.

  • Technical Interest: A demonstrated interest in AI tools, automation, or data tools like SQL is highly valued.

  • Education: A degree in a mathematical, numerical, or business-related field is preferred but not mandatory.

  • Languages: Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Spanish or German is a bonus.

WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS

As a Paid Search Executive, you will serve as a critical driver of growth within our London-based performance marketing team. This role is essential for navigating the high-scrutiny, reactive nature of the automotive market, where you will directly manage significant account structures for our "Get Your Car" and "Sell My Car" products. By rapidly onboarding new Google features—such as Vehicle Ads and AI-driven Performance Max—you will ensure Carwow maintains its competitive edge and operational excellence in a fast-evolving landscape
