The Role
As a Cloud Service Engineer, you will be responsible for technical customer setups of Lucanet in cloud environments and managing and maintaining these systems, including the CFO Solution Platform. The aim of the team is to process service requests within agreed time frames and ensure stable and fully functional cloud environments. You will provide support to customers, partners, and colleagues through various communication channels and assist with automation, cloud migration projects, and technical documentation.
What you'll do
- Install, configure, and assign Lucanet.Software in cloud environments and CFO Solution Platform
- Monitor performance, conduct system maintenance, and address malfunctions and failures
- Ensure data protection and security in cloud environments through updates, logins, protocols, and backups
- Support incident, problem, and change management for managed environments
- Create an internal wiki with technical documentation and cloud service guidelines
- Support our customers, partners, and colleagues via phone, e-mail, or remotely with service
- Automate provisioning and rollout processes and supporting the implementation of cloud migration projects
What you bring to the table
- Experience (apprenticeship/professional experience): Completed training in an IT profession (IT specialist for system integration or application development, IT merchant, information and telecommunications systems electronics technician) or comparable training and at least two years of professional experience, including at least one year in the Cloud Service and/or Operational Services area
- Very good knowledge of Windows operating systems and good knowledge of Linux
- Good knowledge of virtualization
- Advanced basic knowledge with hosting providers, e.g.: Amazon Web Services (AWS) or MS Azure
- Good knowledge in the area of security & data backup/restore
- Basic knowledge in the area of networking (VPN)
- Good knowledge of written and spoken English and Spanish (at least level B2)
- Very good knowledge of MS Office programs
- First experiences in proactive monitoring of customer systems (monitoring)
- High service and customer orientation
- Flexibility and initiative
Good to have
- Experience in the development of operational, monitoring and test concepts
- Experience in the creation of scripts in various scripting languages
