The Role

As a Regional Sales Director at Lucanet, you will lead, by iteratively building and coaching, a high-performing team of Account Executives across the UK market. You’ll be responsible for driving exceptional results across all stages of the sales cycle—from pipeline generation to deal closure—while shaping and executing the regional go-to-market strategy. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who leads by example and embodies our sales values: someone who ‘runs toward the fire’ (i.e., takes challenges head on), owns outcomes, and raises the bar for others. You’ll foster a high-trust, high-accountability environment where your team is empowered to take initiative, learn fast, and deliver results. You’ll coach your team to build executive-level relationships, navigate complex deals, and consistently hit performance targets—while effectively collaborating cross-functionally to align with Lucanet’s broader business goals.

What you'll do

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Account Executives to consistently exceed pipeline and revenue targets.
  • Inspire your team to deliver high performance through clear goals, regular feedback, and a culture of ownership and accountability.
  • Shape and execute the regional go-to-market strategy for the UK market in alignment with global priorities.
  • Establish high activity standards and manage lead generation, pipeline development, and sales execution across the region.
  • Conduct regular forecast reviews and pipeline inspections to ensure accuracy, predictability, and performance transparency.
  • Create and track actionable metrics to optimize team performance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Mentor AEs to build strong executive relationships and navigate complex, multi-threaded sales cycles and negotiations.
  • Participate in key customer meetings to support deal progression and strengthen strategic relationships.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, BDRs, and Customer Success to align messaging, territory plans, and customer journeys.
  • Make bold, data-informed decisions in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Contribute to hiring, onboarding, and retaining top sales talent with a builder’s mindset and a passion for SaaS.
  • Lead the adoption and mastery of sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDPICC), ensuring consistent application.

What you bring to the table

  • A leadership style that reflects Lucanet’s sales culture: you lead with resilience, act with urgency, operate with curiosity, humility, ownership and model a growth mindset in everything you do.
  • Proven experience leading high-performing SaaS sales teams, ideally in B2B mid-market or enterprise environments.
  • Demonstrated success in managing full sales cycles and supporting reps in closing complex deals.
  • Strong track record in setting quotas, managing performance, and delivering against revenue targets.
  • Deep understanding of sales forecasting, pipeline management, and profitability levers.
  • A coaching-first approach with a passion for developing talent and building team culture.
  • Ability to author a regional strategy and collaborate cross-functionally to drive business outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience engaging C-level executives.
  • Familiarity with tools like Salesforce, Gong, Salesloft, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • Demonstrated hands-on use of AI in daily sales operations—for deal and account insights, to ensure critical actions are never missed, and to enhance forecast accuracy—driving measurable gains in productivity, efficiency, and win rates.
