Join Checkly, a Gartner Cool Vendor, as a Senior Backend Engineer and be at the forefront of the Monitoring as Code (MaC) movement. We're a remote-first startup on a mission to enable developers to detect and resolve issues 10x faster with code-first synthetic monitoring for modern DevOps. Monitor your APIs and apps at a fraction of the price of legacy providers. Powered by a Monitoring as Code workflow and Playwright.

Thousands of developers are using Checkly today, including those at 1Password, Autodesk, AutoTrader, CrowdStrike, Deno, Render, Sentry, and Vercel.

  • We deploy ~20 times per day to production on average.

  • We use Vue / Node.js / Postgres / AWS / ClickHouse.

  • We're processing ~4000 API and Browser checks per minute now.

  • We don't do daily sync stand ups. We keep meetings to a minimum.

  • We work in small teams, with devs, product and design mixed together.

  • We have over 1,000 paying customers challenging us every day.

  • We have an onboarding plan for every new joiner.

We care about building a diverse team where people of all backgrounds are encouraged to do their best work. To achieve this we built a flexible, remote-first and async-first startup environment with inclusive benefits.
