RPA Developer – Job Description

The RPA Developer will be working with the Cloudera RPA team on maintaining and delivering RPA automations. The primary responsibilities of this role will be to support existing automations, design, develop and implement RPA solutions for systems like Salesforce, NetSuite, Concur, OpenAir, Learn Upon. The individual will work closely with Business and IT users in gathering requirements, testing automations and assessing impact on other integrations or processes. Part of the role will involve maintaining the RPA virtual environment, control room schedule and bot pools. The candidate needs to have Automation Anywhere 360 hands-on development experience and be able to hit the ground running with the existing process documentation. The job requires familiarity with both User Interface and backend/API automations.

As a RPA Developer, you will:

• Monitor and solve any production support RPA issues. Update RPA code to fix bugs or adjust code to process changes. Restart bots for schedule failures, track any platform issues with the vendor

• Maintenance of RPA environment: Virtual Machines refresh, upgrade tests in AA Sandbox environment, code enhancements with latest package versions

• Track RPA Jiras for new requests and issues, prioritize and solve open tickets

• For new RPA ideas, gather business requirements on RPA use cases and translate them into functional and technical specifications

• Design, develop, and implement RPA solutions using Automation Anywhere A360 to streamline processes and maximize efficiency

• Existing automations code enhancements: re-design automations to run on the bot pools versus single runner, improve or add metrics when needed

• Collaborate with RPA Center of Excellence on development best practices and code review of the bots

• Manage end to end SDLC encompassing process analysis, design, development, system test, UAT and implementation and post production bug fixes

We’re excited about you if you have:

• Development Experience with Automation Anywhere 360 RPA tool

• Familiar with User Interface, API and scripting automations techniques

• Bachelor/master’s in computer science or Associate Degree

• Experience developing automations with ERP/CRM applications such as NetSuite, Oracle and SalesForce is a plus

• At least 2 to 4 years of professional experience in programming (including scripting /coding), SQL, HTML, Python and familiarity with web service interaction (REST/SOAP)

• Should have excellent communication skills in both written & verbal English and should have worked in a global/multicultural environment
