As the Senior Accountant you will be supporting the Corporate Accounting team to ensure that key financial close and day-to-day activities are completed accurately and promptly. This role is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Qualified Accountant to be part of a global team, contribute to process improvements, and enhance financial reporting efficiency.

As a Senior Accountant you will:

  • Be responsible for all accounting activities, including timely month end close, periodic (monthly & quarterly) balance sheet and income statement reviews and journal entry preparation and posting

  • Support the corporate month end, quarter end, and year end closing process and the global monthly consolidation process

  • Responsible for monthly and quarterly income statement and balance sheet fluctuation analysis

  • Manage the accurate and timely processing of all accounting transactions under your remit

  • Maintain compliance with the Company’s existing SOX and internal control processes

  • Support annual audits and preparation of Financial Statements

  • Develop/review and implement policies, standards and guidelines related to finance activities

  • Liaise with Treasury, Payroll, HR, Equity, Legal, FP&A, Tax, and the Corporate accounting teams to ensure day-to-day finance operational needs are met and assist in resolving issues and providing guidelines.

  • Mentor and support colleagues in the accounting team.

  • Participate and engage in upcoming projects & initiatives

  • Perform any other ad-hoc tasks/projects assigned on an as-needed basis

  • Follow and comply with all company standards and relevant compliance requirements

We are excited if you have:

  • Recognised accounting qualification (ACA, CIMA, ACCA).

  • 3+ years relevant PQE with fast-growing, multi-national company

  • Strong foundation in accounting, monthly close, and financial reporting

  • Significant knowledge of US GAAP accounting preferred

  • Ability to multi-task, be agile and work well in a dynamic environment

  • Team player with strong communication, customer service, organizational skills and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to meet deadlines, and to efficiently interact with various groups across the company as well as outside of the company

  • Intermediate/Advance Excel skills

  • Experience with NetSuite preferred
