We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Finance Analyst to join our dynamic Finance team here at Cohesity, focused on corporate expense assumptions. As part of the Corporate FP&A team, this individual will play a key role in providing strategic insights, accurate forecasting, and detailed financial analysis related to corporate expenses across the business. This position offers a unique opportunity to drive business performance by supporting decision-making processes with data-driven insights.

HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME HERE:

  • Lead the development and maintenance of corporate expense assumptions, ensuring alignment with company strategy, business goals, and financial targets.
  • Analyze and track expense trends, variances, and drivers, providing actionable insights to senior management on potential risks and opportunities. Monitor expense performance against budget and prior forecasts, identifying areas of inefficiency and cost optimization.
  • Build strong relationships with business partners to determine their reporting needs and support their growth initiatives.
  • Develop financial models to evaluate investment opportunities, cost initiatives, and process improvements.
  • Build out new and improve existing finance processes to ensure data integrity and efficient analyses
  • Drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration, and commitment across multiple groups with competing priorities.

WE’D LOVE TO TALK TO YOU IF YOU HAVE MANY OF THE FOLLOWING:

  • Advanced skills in Excel and other financial planning and forecasting tools. Familiarity with Adaptive Insights and Netsuite tools are a plus.
  • Solid overall business acumen including accounting/financial experience
  • A curiosity to learn and take initiative to solve problems independently
  • Strong critical thinking, organizational, interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to explain financial data to non-finance leaders
  • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment
  • Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet firm deadlines is a must
  • Must have great problem-solving skills, be a self-starter, understand business issues and be able to clearly and concisely put together recommendations and implementation plans

YOUR EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • MBA or equivalent degree a plus.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in a high growth technology company

Disclosure Pursuant to Applicable State Equal Pay Transparency Laws - This position has a starting pay range as listed below. Actual salary depends upon many factors, including a candidate’s skills, qualifications and experience, location, and salary expectations, and therefore a starting salary at the low end, high end, or even above the stated range may be offered. This position may also be eligible for bonus compensation, commission (if in a sales function), and/or equity grants. Additionally, full-time employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive benefits framework, including health and wellness benefits, vacation, paid holidays and refresh days, 401(k) retirement plan, life and disability insurance coverages, and other benefits the Company may offer from time to time.
US Pay Range
$112,200$140,300 USD
