HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME HERE
1. Partner Relationship Management
Responsibility:
- Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with strategic partners.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for partner inquiries and support.
- Regularly engage with partners to identify new business opportunities and resolve challenges.
Expected Outcomes:
- Strong, trust-based relationships that foster partner loyalty and enable repeat business.
- Increased partner satisfaction, retention, and commitment to selling Cohesity solutions.
- Growth in partner-driven sales and pipeline expansion.
2. Partner Enablement and Training
Responsibility:
- Provide partners with the necessary resources, training, and technical enablement to effectively sell and deploy Cohesity solutions.
- Conduct regular onboarding sessions, product updates, and skill-building workshops.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure partners have access to the latest sales collateral, tools, and product knowledge.
Expected Outcomes:
- Partners are fully equipped with the knowledge and tools to sell and support Cohesity solutions confidently.
- Increased sales capacity and competency among partner sales teams.
- Shorter ramp-up time for new partners and quicker deal closure.
3. Sales and Revenue Growth through Partners
Responsibility:
- Work closely with partners to drive sales, increase revenue, and meet/exceed sales targets.
- Identify and support high-potential opportunities, helping partners close deals.
- Develop joint sales strategies, leveraging Cohesity’s solutions to meet customer needs.
Expected Outcomes:
- Achieve or exceed annual sales targets and revenue goals through partner-driven sales.
- Increased market share for Cohesity in target regions and verticals.
- Greater partner contribution to overall revenue growth.
4. Demand Generation and Co-Marketing
Responsibility:
- Lead and collaborate on joint marketing campaigns with partners to generate leads, build brand awareness, and drive demand for Cohesity solutions.
- Support the execution of co-branded events, webinars, and digital marketing campaigns.
- Align with marketing teams to leverage Cohesity’s assets and resources for partner-driven campaigns.
Expected Outcomes:
- Increased partner-generated demand and lead volume, contributing to pipeline growth.
- Enhanced visibility of Cohesity solutions in target markets.
- Increased engagement and collaboration between Cohesity and partner marketing teams.
5. Forecasting, Reporting, and Performance Tracking
Responsibility:
- Track and report on key performance metrics, including sales performance, pipeline health, and partner activity.
- Provide regular updates to senior leadership regarding channel performance and areas for improvement.
- Identify performance gaps and collaborate with partners and internal teams to address them.
Expected Outcomes:
- Accurate forecasting of partner revenue and sales pipeline.
- Actionable insights and data-driven decisions to optimize partner performance.
- Timely identification of underperforming partners, with strategies implemented to improve engagement and performance.

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- Experience in channel sales, partner management, or business development with a focus on key partner relationships.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and growing key partner relationships, with measurable results in increasing sales and market share.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence at all levels.
- Analytical and data-driven approach to decision-making, with a focus on driving business growth.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

In-Office Expectations
Cohesity employees who are within a reasonable commute (e.g. within a forty-five (45) minute average travel time) work out of our core offices 2-3 days a week of their choosing.
