We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Finance Analyst to join Cohesity’s dynamic Finance team, supporting G&A and Workplace Services (WPS) expense management. As part of the G&A finance support function, this role will be responsible for driving accurate vendor-level forecasting, cash flow visibility, month-end accruals, and expense analysis across facilities and regions. The ideal candidate will partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure financial discipline, enhance cost transparency, and deliver data-driven insights that support informed decision-making and overall business performance.
How You’ll Spend Your Time Here
Lead the development, maintenance, and reporting of G&A and workplace services (WPS) expenses at a lease ID, site, and entity level, ensuring alignment with approved budgets, utilization trends, and financial reporting requirements.
Manage PO-based and non-PO-based accruals for Opex vendors, including coordination with CBRE Admin teams for lease administration accruals across, EMEA, APJ, and India, ensuring completeness and accuracy during month-end close.
Own timely submission of invoices, perform vendor and invoice reconciliations, and actively follow up on recurring and supplemental RAR invoices to ensure timely submission, approval, and payment.
Prepare and maintain spending forecasts by vendor at lease site level, help Capex forecast to financial analyst, and variance analyses by monitoring actuals versus budget, identifying key drivers, risks, and cost optimization opportunities related to vendor PO performance and operational spend.
Develop and maintain financial trackers and reports, including utilities consumption trackers, late fee tracking, prepaid and amortization schedules, and other cost control dashboards to support FP&A and management decision-making.
Compile and submit operational cost data such as F&B expenses, transport usage reports, and other workplace-related metrics to Finance, ensuring data accuracy and timeliness.
Partner closely with Finance, FP&A, Facilities Management, Lease Administration, and business stakeholders to understand reporting needs, support growth initiatives, and enhance transparency in expense management.
Support month-end close activities, including timely accruals, invoice follow-ups, and validation of open POs, while driving process improvements to enhance efficiency, data integrity, and compliance.
Provide audit support by maintaining proper documentation, responding to audit queries, and ensuring adherence to internal controls and financial policies.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by building new finance processes, enhancing existing workflows, and supporting change management efforts through strong collaboration, communication, and cross-functional teamwork.
Demonstrated experience leveraging AI tools to streamline workflows, enhance productivity, and support high-quality decision-making.
WE’D LOVE TO TALK TO YOU IF YOU HAVE MANY OF THE FOLLOWING:
Advanced skills in Excel and other financial planning and forecasting tools. Familiarity with Adaptive Insights and Netsuite tools are a plus.
Solid overall business acumen including accounting/financial experience
A curiosity to learn and take initiative to solve problems independently
Strong critical thinking, organizational, interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills to explain financial data to non-finance leaders
Ability to coordinate multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment
Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet firm deadlines is a must
Must have great problem-solving skills, be a self-starter, understand business issues and be able to clearly and concisely put together recommendations and implementation plans

Your Experience
Bachelor’s degree required.
MBA or equivalent degree a plus.
Minimum 8 to 12 years of relevant experience in a high growth technology company
