We are looking for an Engineering leader for our Security Engineering team, who will tackle some of the most critical and exciting challenges in securing large-scale distributed systems. This role requires deep technical leadership to build resilient, secure, and scalable platforms that protect enterprise customers from evolving security threats.
We seek to hire a Senior Manager to lead our Security Engineering team. You will lead teams building security services and infrastructure at scale, driving the design and implementation of secure-by-default architectures. We are looking for expert and innovative leaders who are passionate about security, enjoy mentoring strong engineers, and thrive in delivering outcomes for mission-critical systems.
HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME HERE:
As an engineering leader, you will encourage, lead, and develop a team of outstanding security-focused software engineers across geographies who are redefining how enterprise customers secure and protect their data and platforms.
Lead the design and development of security services and frameworks
Partner closely with product management and platform teams to embed security into the product lifecycle, from design and architecture through implementation, testing, and deployment.
Own the security capabilities end-to-end, from requirements and threat modeling to implementation, validation, and operational readiness across on‑prem and cloud environments.
Drive secure engineering best practices.
Mentor, lead, and grow senior engineers and technical leaders within the security organization.
Work closely with cross‑functional stakeholders including product management, program management, infrastructure, QA, support, and incident response teams to deliver high‑quality, secure products and execute on the security roadmap.
WE’D LOVE TO TALK TO YOU IF YOU HAVE MANY OF THE FOLLOWING:
BS/MS/Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related field.
12+ years of experience building and leading large-scale distributed systems, with strong experience in security engineering.
Deep understanding of security domains & experience applying secure development lifecycle (SDL) practices, threat modeling, and security risk assessment.
Familiarity with cloud security concepts across AWS, Azure, or GCP is a strong plus.
Experience working in agile/scrum environments and leading teams through complex, multi-quarter security initiatives.
Ability to understand market and threat landscape dynamics to drive security strategy, prioritization, and execution.
Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, streamline security workflows, and support engineering and security decision-making.
