Cohesity is looking for a regional Distribution Manager who can engage with and manage all of our Distributors across APJ. This role is critical in the development and management of Distributor Growth Plans, enablement of the Cohesity reseller ecosystem, and driving 20% plus growth in the Disti-Managed Partner segment. Tactically, this function is critical in achieving this growth by optimizing utilization of Disti-Development Funds (DDF) to drive execution of global sales plays such as Cyber Up, Identity Resilience, and better together plays with our Security Alliance partners.
HOW YOU'LL SPEND YOUR TIME HERE:
Alignment with our partner and sales capacity, compliance, and profitability requirements, we will execute a comprehensive distribution strategy.
Developing and managing Distributor Growth Plans that guide our distribution relationships.
Collaboration with APJ sales/channel/marketing leaders to outline, implement, and manage distribution sales targets.
Partnering with APJ sales and channel teams to conduct consistent quarterly business reviews to assess the execution of Distributor Growth Plans.
Partner onboarding and activation through our distributors.
Collaboration with WWFO to promote frictionless transaction processing for multi-country orders.
Cross-functional projects to contribute, develop and implement worldwide transformational initiatives.
Driving adoption of our configuration and quote process to support of channel-led deal management.
Implementation of proactive renewals motion with our distributors.
Automation improvements to facilitate renewal, cross-sell, upsell and operational efficiencies with our distribution partners.
Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support decision making.
WE’D LOVE TO TALK TO YOU IF YOU HAVE MANY OF THE FOLLOWING:
5–10 years of experience working with or for distributors.
Familiarity with the MITC (Meet in the Channel) solution-selling model.
Experience setting up and managing growth-oriented distribution relationships in the Asia Pacific Japan (APJ) market(s).
Ability to manage pipeline closure during periods of heavy volume.
Strong organizational skills and proactive approach to day-to-day activities.
Capability to manage pipeline strategically and tactically, especially at quarter end to remove barriers.
Skill in influencing cross-functional stakeholders and driving results from individuals not reporting directly.
Dynamic and adaptable individual able to work on both strategic projects and tactical tasks as needed.
Proven track record in creating awareness, demand, and preference for company products and services.
Experience working with cross-functional teams to coordinate marketing activities, determine prioritization, execute plans, and measure ROI from partners.
Strong communication skills.
Successful history of designing effective engagement strategies with partners in previous roles.
Deep knowledge of value offerings through distribution, with the ability to drive alignment and leverage distribution programs and offerings for the benefit of Cohesity, partners, and customers.

Cohesity employees who are within a reasonable commute (e.g. within a forty-five (45) minute average travel time) work out of our core offices 2-3 days a week of their choosing.
