Job Summary

Job Summary

As a Senior Product Manager within the Cloud Delivered Security Services (CDSS) organization, you will drive the execution of our Application Security (AppSec) strategy. You will translate strategic vision into high-quality product capabilities that protect critical web applications and AI services from sophisticated threats. Embedded in the product development lifecycle, you will collaborate with Engineering, Threat Research, and UX teams to build robust defenses against vulnerability exploitation and API-specific risks. Your focus will be on agility and execution, using a customer-centric and data-driven philosophy to continuously iterate and ensure our AppSec solutions remain resilient and essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive day-to-day execution of the AppSec product roadmap and translate strategy into detailed PRDs.

  • Lead development of capabilities to detect and mitigate Layer 7 attacks and OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities.

  • Champion features for deep visibility and control over API endpoints and defenses against malicious automation.

  • Partner with engineering leads and scrum teams to manage agile cycles and ensure high-quality feature delivery.

  • Engage with customers and analyze cloud-native deployments to identify gaps and inform feature prioritization.

  • Monitor product telemetry and threat intelligence to optimize security rules and machine learning models.

  • Support marketing teams in creating technical collateral and enablement materials for delivered features.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in technical product management, software engineering, or application security.

  • Deep technical understanding of modern web architectures, HTTP/HTTPS protocols, microservices, and Kubernetes.

  • Extensive knowledge of the application threat landscape, including OWASP Top 10 and API vulnerabilities.

  • Exceptional ability to operate within an agile framework, managing backlogs and prioritizing sprints.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate complex technical requirements clearly.

  • Strong team player mentality with a demonstrated ability to foster collaboration across distributed teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.

  • Familiarity with application delivery concepts, load balancing, proxy architectures, and edge computing.

  • Experience working with or building technologies focused on Layer 7 inspection and payload analysis.

  • A highly technical, hands-on approach with a strong interest in understanding underlying technologies.

Compensation Disclosure

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/com-missioned roles) is expected to be the annual range listed below.
