Position Overview:
We’re looking to hire an experienced Director, Demand Strategy & Activation who has a strong background in the technology sector with complex buying committees. Our ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience leading high-performing teams, driving strategic digital marketing and integrated campaign initiatives. This role will report to the Sr. Director of Demand and will be responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing multi-channel marketing strategies that generate demand, increase brand visibility and drive revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy Development: Lead the creation and execution of the digital and campaign marketing strategy in alignment with overall business objectives. Focus on innovative tactics to grow market share, engage target audiences, and build brand recognition.
- Campaign Management: Lead the development and execution of integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns across all touchpoints, inclusive of digital and offline. Ensure cohesive messaging and brand alignment, to activate our strategic and field marketing teams to craft tailored programs for key customer accounts and market segments.
- Budget Management: Prioritize spend for maximum return on investment and ensure alignment with business goals, financial plans and ensure on target.
- Performance Optimization: Continuously track, measure, and optimize marketing efforts based on performance metrics (e.g., engagement rates, lead generation, conversion rates, pipeline, revenue). Leverage data-driven decision making to adjust strategies and maximize the effectiveness of digital programs and campaign initiatives that drive defined business outcomes.
- Collaboration: Work across marketing functions like field marketing, sales development, partner marketing, etc. and key business teams such as legal, finance, sales, and product. Align campaigns with business goals and ensure effective budget allocation to drive performance, optimize the customer journey and maximize ROI.
- Executive Communication: Work closely with Sr. Director of Demand to build executive-level overviews of programs, insights and growth opportunities. Garner buy-in for strategic pivots that align to market changes and business needs.
- Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and develop a team of 4+ marketers across digital, content, email and campaign functions. Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Agency Management: Oversee agency relationships including resource management, performance accountability and leading any RFP’s.
Key Qualifications:
- 10+ years of marketing experience in B2B technology, with a focus on digital marketing and integrated campaigns.
- Proven experience managing and developing teams of 5 or more direct reports.
- Demonstrated success of accurate management of large-scale marketing budgets.
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing tactics, including SEO/SEM, PPC, email marketing, social media, and content marketing.
- Experience with relevant MarTech, CRM, and analytics tools (e.g., Salesforce, Marketo, GA4, 6sense, Integrate, etc. )
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment and drive change.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
- Demonstrated experience in utilizing AI to boost team efficiency and optimize processes.
- Prior agency experience is a plus, but not required
