This position is in NY/NJ, TX or CA with US and global travel as required (15-25% travel requirement).
Job Description: Senior GSI Partner Manager
The Senior GSI Partner Manager plays a critical role in managing and expanding strategic relationships with Global System Integrators (GSIs) such as Accenture, Capgemini, Deloitte, and Infosys. This role drives joint go-to-market initiatives, solution development, and co-selling opportunities that accelerate customer adoption of Couchbase at scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner Relationship Management: Build and maintain executive and operational-level relationships within assigned GSI accounts.
- Go-to-Market Execution: Define and execute joint GTM strategies with partners including demand generation, marketing campaigns, and sales plays aligned with key industry verticals.
- Sales Enablement: Train and certify GSI partner teams on product positioning, solution selling, and technical integration of Couchbase.
- Pipeline Development & Co-Selling: Drive partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline. Collaborate with internal sales teams to identify joint opportunities and support co-selling motions.
- Solution Innovation: Partner with GSIs to build reusable, repeatable solutions and industry offerings using Couchbase.
- Performance Metrics: Track and report on key KPIs such as partner-led revenue, pipeline generation, certifications, and GTM activities.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Couchbase sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure strategic alignment and partner success.
Qualifications
- 8+ years experience in partner management, business development, or alliances—preferably with GSIs.
- Proven track record of building joint GTM strategies and driving partner-sourced revenue.
- Strong understanding of cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern data platforms.
- Strategic thinker with excellent execution and relationship-building skills.
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Experience working in or with high-growth SaaS or database technology companies is a plus.
