Territory Sales Representative, LATAM

As a Territory Sales Representative for LATAM, you will drive sales both directly and through our established network of regional partners. You will be part of a dynamic field sales team that has positioned Couchbase as the leading Developer Data Platform, built for mission-critical applications in today’s AI-driven world. Your focus will be on generating new business, expanding within strategic accounts, and demonstrating the value of our solutions.
You will report to the Regional Sales Director, LATAM.
Location
Near a major airport – Miami preferred
Responsibilities
- Meet or exceed quarterly and annual bookings targets.
- Actively hunt for new business opportunities. This role demands a proactive, hunter-oriented mindset.
- Collaborate with regional partners to develop joint opportunities and execute go-to-market activities that expand Couchbase’s LATAM footprint.
- Drive expansion within existing accounts and acquire net-new logos while building a long-term, sustainable pipeline.
- Deliver compelling remote and in-person presentations, effectively articulating Couchbase’s value proposition.
- Travel approximately 20–40% (occasionally up to 50%) across LATAM.
- Maintain excellent CRM hygiene by logging all sales activities in Salesforce.
- Balance shorter sales cycles with longer, complex enterprise deals.
- Organize and host Couchbase-branded events to generate organic leads across key LATAM markets.
Desired Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise software sales experience, within the LATAM market.
- Proven track record of winning new logos and developing long-term pipeline in a competitive software landscape.
- Experience with strategic selling methodologies (MEDDIC preferred).
- Thrives in high-growth, fast-paced environments. Collaborative, self-motivated, and results-driven.
- Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to lead complex sales cycles.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational abilities.
- Fluency in English and native-level Spanish is required. Portuguese is a strong plus.
Minimum Qualifications
- BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience.
- Excellent relationship-building and consultative sales skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience selling cloud-based solutions is a plus.
